Legal document
Privacy policy
This policy explains how the Taghreed Medical Center website handles data when you browse or start an appointment request through WhatsApp.
1. Scope and data contact
This policy applies to this public website for Taghreed Medical Center in Taif. The center is the contact for website-related personal data. It does not cover clinical records or care processes managed outside the website under separate procedures and applicable law.
2. Data processed by the website
Appointment-request entries
When you type your name, requested service and preferred time, the values remain temporarily in your browser. The website does not send them to a database or store them on its server. Selecting “Continue on WhatsApp” prepares a message and opens WhatsApp; the information is transferred only if you decide to send it there.
Operational and security data
The hosting infrastructure may process technical request logs needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, timestamp and requested page. The site currently has no user accounts, payments, newsletter, first-party analytics, or first-party advertising cookies.
Sensitive data
Do not send diagnoses, medical records, national ID numbers, test results, or sensitive health information through the website or the initial WhatsApp booking message.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use the minimum data needed to deliver and protect the website, describe the center and its services, and enable the contact you request. Depending on the context, processing is based on your request, service delivery, legitimate interests in secure operation, and applicable legal obligations.
4. Third-party services and disclosure
The site links to or embeds WhatsApp, Google Maps and TikTok. When opened or played, those providers may receive technical data, set their own cookies and process data outside Saudi Arabia under their arrangements and policies. The center does not sell website visitor data. It may disclose data where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
5. Retention and security
The website does not retain appointment-form values. The hosting provider keeps technical logs only for its necessary operational and security periods. We use HTTPS, browser security policies, restricted permissions and data minimization. No electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, your rights may include being informed, access, obtaining a copy, correction or completion, destruction where legally applicable, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis. We may verify your identity before acting and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe.
Learn more from the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and SDAIA’s guide.
7. Children and changes
This site is intended for adults seeking information about the center. We do not ask children to submit data through it. We may update this policy when services or legal requirements change; the new effective date will appear here.
8. Privacy requests
